Who we are

Mythical-Starting from the name

According to mythology Artemis, goddess of hunting, turned her faithful maid Aretusa into a spring in order to save her from Alfeo, who had fallen in love with her. In his book "Metamorphosis" Ovid recounts that Zeus, also moved to pity, turned Alfeo into an underground river so that he could flow to reach his beloved.

Choosing the company name is a creative exercise and the choice of name can influence the company image and its relations with others. If the choice is fortuitous, it will be pronounced thousands of times and may be considered to be a success.

In 1990, when we decided to name our company Arethusa, we considered these and other aspects: an original brand name, different from the usual Search company names and a name that drew from tradition. We considered a "spring" from which companies could imbibe our skills and competences; a flow and exchange of experience and information with our Clients would lead to effective solutions.

Founded by HR Directors, Arethusa remains loyal to the business principle of offering high-level Search and Selection competence as demanded by our Multinational Clients.

This principle has born fruit. Arethusa Partners and Senior Consultants all have previous business and HR experience in national and multinational companies, and the Search and Selection services provided draw from this corporate experience.

This experience, together with our dedication and enthusiasm, leads to a high level of Client satisfaction and loyalty.

"TWENTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THE SAME LEVEL OF ENTHUSIASM"
