REF. 3572: EHS DI STABILIMENTO – Como
CLIENT: Multinational leader in its reference sector
MAIN DUTIES:
- Responsible for leading EHS programs and procedures cascaded from Corporate, Group or Division to meet enterprise and business unit EHS objectives and targets. Key focus points include: Accident Prevention, EHS Regulatory Compliance, Energy management and use reduction, Waste Minimization, and Management Systems
- Responsible for leading the successful use of EHS management systems which includes the Corporate EHS Directives, ISO 14001 certification and any other applicable EHS management system certifications or elements..
- Eligible as RSPP and Trainer according to Legislative Decree 81/08
- Planning and conducting audits (e.g. internal audits ISO9001) at all levels, support supplier and customer audits and acts as location representative to third party and customer auditors.
- Implementation and coordination of Safety Star Point Team at location level.
- Implementation and Training of Div. or Corp. Safety Initiatives / Tools / issues.
- Close cooperation within the Division in the development and implementation of the strategic safety policies and initiatives.
- Accurate reporting of Safety relevant topics and ensure timely reporting of monthly quality data.
- Coordinate all EHS training.
- Support and manage corrective actions from Division EHS audits.
- Direct all applicable EHS reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain necessary EHS records.
- Insure compliance with Corporate EHS Policy and Directives.
- Support customer EHS requirements.
- Report directly to division management and at staff meetings on EHS matters.
- Direct the division’s waste management (recycling) program.
- Support and integrate EHS into Lean, HR, and Supply Chain efforts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS (extensive experience with certificate programs, seminars and CEU’s or associate degree possibly acceptable).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- 4/5 years of applicable experience.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Creative ability in insuring safety of employees, the environment while meeting the needs of production.
- Ability to plan and implement EHS programs.
- Must be able to travel and work out of the office.
- Good English and Italian knowledge written and spoken
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills
