Broadcasting industry, part of one of the most important Group worldwide involved in broadcast and technology working with global media companies of all size

JOB PURPOSE: The Pre-Sales Engineer will report to the Managing Director of  Italy structure and will be part of the Sales Support team.

The role will be actively engaged as contributor of the Company sales, technical & operations strategy roadmap and its implementation in Italy.

The Pre-Sales Engineer’s mission is to provide a technical support to the Sales team of the Company in Italy. The technical support mainly consists in analysing and qualifying the customer needs, designing and costing the appropriate solution, as well as presenting it in front of the client ifnecessary.

We are looking for an individual who understands the technology strategy inclusive of information, communications, operation and competitive technologies, being aware of emergent trends in the fields of linear broadcast, OTT, VOD, media management and broadcasting of sport events as well as being able to meet the profitability expectations of the business.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Analysis and qualification of customer technical needs in coordination with the Sales team
  • Design of the functional technical solution(s) with the support of the experts from Engineering and Operations Departments
  • Definition of the associated quotation(s)
  • Support of the Sales team for the solution presentations to the client.
  • Definition of a functional engineering document detailing the customer solution(s) to be deployed
  • Constant Promotion of legacy and new products including during national and international exhibitions
  • Participation to periodic major customer account operations committees led by MD,

Sales and Operations Departments.

  • Participate to establish the company’s technical vision and support the company’s technological development
  • Participate to the technology purchases to maximize vendor relationships and implement new technologies globally
  • Support the technological and operational transformation of the entity through best technology and best QoS programmes
  • Ensure best industry standards are met through certifications and security programmes
