RIF. 3465: PLANNER/COST CONTROL (NIGERIA)
Client: Our client is a Multinational Company in the Oil&Gas Sector
Main Duties:
- To Define Cost Estimate and relevant preliminary Project Cash Flow, developing and updating Company Cost Coding
- To Evaluate cost impacts connected with both internal and external changes and prepare a Cost Report
- To Develop and implement Budget Planning and Project Cash Flow
- To implement necessary operating Budget Controls for expenditures and cash usage
- To analyse accounting records and develop cost saving methods, including audit controls for accounting and payroll
- To Assist the Project manager in preparing Operating Budget, analysing work requirements, relevant data and completion date
- To prepare Work Instructions provided with clarification notes (where needed), references to specifications and drawings and check availability of material at stock
- To prepare detailed Work Schedule ensuring the most efficient use of Resources (personnel, material, equipment and services) getting a work load compatible with available resources and compliant with contractual requirements
- To analyse daily reports and to control Personnel attendance and to record relevant working hours and performance
- To analyse deviations affecting the work progress and suggesting remedies
- To prepare, update and submit on regularly basis the Work Progress, highlighting any deviation and ensuring that all financial and accounting contractual obligations are complying with Budget
- To prepare, in case of project overrun, a Budget Deviation Form for Management’s approval
- To plan, jointly with the Team Leaders, a Recovery Plan in presence of delay
- To Audit Purchasing Orders content and clauses
- To prepare and submit to Management weekly / monthly reports as per defined standards
Responsibilities:
- To Analyse all expenditures and ensure that all accounting transactions, invoicing, financial records and accounting procedures comply with Contractual obligations and Corporate procedures
- To Optimize deployment of available resources according to operational needs
- To Highlight needs of material, equipment, tools and forecast possible deviations
Mandatory requirements:
- Graduated in Engineering
- Proficient in oral and written English
- At least Ten years’ experience in the same role with EPC Contractor Company
- Familiar with the main technical and execution aspects of industrial plants, including relevant software Excellent communicative and organizational skills
- Strong leadership
