Arethusa was one of the first Recruiting Firms established in Italy specialised in Middle and Senior Management. This is thanks to the experience acquired by the Partners and Senior Consultants of Arethusa in the HR departments of leading companies.
Present on the market since 1990, it owes its success to the application of the direct research method (initially reserved for senior management roles) to any role level, and the ability to transversally follow various industries.

The Team

Founder & Partner

Diploma in Classical Studies, Degree in Philosophy, Master in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi.
From 1980 to 1984, during his university studies, he worked in the IT department of Banca Lombarda.
From 1984 to 1988 he worked for Pirelli Group (three years in Pirelli Coordinamento Pneumatici in HR Development and one in Pirelli Holding SpA, also in HR Development).
From 1988 to 1990 he worked for De Agostini, initially as HR Recruitment, Training and Development Manager, subsequently also as Personnel Director for the De Agostini Cartography department.
In March 1990 he founded Arethusa.

Assistant Lecturer for the Faculty of Administrative Sciences at the Università Cattolica.
Industry Manager since 1987.
Extensive experience acquired in HR management, particularly in the areas of Recruitment, Training and Organisation Development in major multinational groups, including Colgate- Palmolive, Star Alimentare Spa, Pirelli and Walt Disney.
He has provided strategic support to Boards of Directors (or Entrepreneurs) for reaching business objectives through the optimisation of individual skills.
In his latest role as Country HR Manager for Walt Disney, he was responsible for managing the Human Resources for all the Italian lines of business: Licensing, Retail, Publishing, Television, Cinema and Internet.
He is author of the essay “Il Valore delle Persone – Il Caso Disney” (The Value of People – the Disney Case Study), published by Franco Angeli as well co-author with Marco Castiglioni of the essay “Il Teatro Formazione” (The Training Theatre) published by FOR.
He joined Arethusa in 2005.


Degree in Political Sciences at Cesare Alfieri in Florence and Assistant of Economics.
HR Director Magazines Division in Rizzoli Corriere della Sera and then Internal and External Relations Director in Zignago Holding.
In GFT Turin he was HR, Organization and Systems Director and later on in Zambon he was Group HR Director and then General Manager Asia Pacific.
In 2003 he founded Elan International Executive Search.
Since 2019 Partner of Arethusa.


Business Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in IT & Statistics.
Marketing and Business Development Director from 1998 and 2012 in companies of different industries including The Walt Disney Co., Cir Group, Rai – Radiotelevisione Italiana, Benetton Group and Sixty Group.
Extensive experience also in digital transformation (in 2015 he launched and held the position of General Manager of Hurry! a leading online car seller operator – www.the-hurry.com).
Founder in 2018 of APraise Executive Search.
Board member for two terms at Raiway (RWAY) and Audiradio, as well as member of the Technical Committee of Auditel.
Since October 2022 Partner of Arethusa.

Associate Partner

Diploma in Classical Studies, Degree in Mass Communication and Master’s Degree in Communication and Marketing.
She worked in TV production at Mediaset for ten years, spent two years in the Fastweb Group overseeing the development of multimedia projects, and in parallel was involved in academic and professional training in the audio-visual sector.
In 2003 she became an independent consultant with her company Labmedia, specialising in Research & Development and Human Resources for the audio-visual sector.
After creating and managing the only Italian research about work in the audio-visual world, TV job (link to www.tvjob.it), since 2007 she has consulted for several Executive Search firms, as Head Hunter and Media Division Manager.
In Arethusa she is Leader of Media Practice, with a focus on Audio-visual (on air, online, VoD) and of Content Marketing, with additional expertise in Entertainment, Digital and Advertising.
She is an Associate Certified Coach member of the International Coaching Federation.

Associate Partner

Bachelor’s degree in law.
After two work experiences in financial trading and in Unilever sales & marketing department, in 1991 he started his professional career in Executive Search at multinational groups and Italian entrepreneurial companies, gaining a strong specialization in the industrial manufacturing market and in Industry 4.0 projects (digitization and automation of business processes), as well as in recruitment activities at an international level.
From September 2022 he joins the Arethusa team, keeping the focus on the different industrial sectors such as mechanical, electronic, plastic and food and on the related innovation needs (ICT, IoT, AR, VR, ML & Digital) and sustainability.

Associate Partner

After graduating in Human Resources Organization Paolo joined the recruitment business in 2010, after a twenty-year career in corporate roles in the technical field. As General Manager, he led medium-sized companies operating in the Information Technology sector and strongly oriented towards innovation. Today Paolo is an Associate Partner of Arethusa and is capitalizing on the background matured in his previous professional life, providing his clients with depth and breadth of understanding both from technical and leadership standpoints. He focuses his recruitment activities on: Digital, Information & Communication Technology, Consumer Goods and Distribution.

Associate Partner

Degree in Foreign Languages and Specialization in Marketing and Business Administration at SDA Bocconi.

For 20 years she worked in big Companies and Multinationals such as Mondadori, Sole 24 Ore, The Walt Disney Company, Rodale International, developing meaningful experiences in the following areas: BtoB, business development, start up, organizational issue, international networks development , building of strategic partnerships, international marketing, brand communication, planning of communication campaigns for Companies and Institutions, always with business results responsibility.

In the latest 10 years Letizia has mainly focused her activities, as Manager and Consultant, on new business projects, organizational issues and scouting, gaining skills and competencies that allow her to manage transversely several industries.
